Enjoy People

When stuck in a worry rut we tend to want to isolate, but this is the worst thing we can do. Left on our own, our imaginations have time to go wild, assume the worst and ruminate on negative thoughts. Getting out to be with friends or family that have a positive impact on you, can provide a very healthy distraction from worry. Listening to and caring for others shifts the focus off of ourselves and gives us meaningful purpose and joy. God made us to be in relationship with each other. When we love, help, and find joy in other people, we are doing what we were naturally created to do. Enjoy people and forget about worry on this "Not Gonna Worry" Wednesday.
