Beware of Exaggerated Thinking

Worries are often created from our overactive imaginations. We take a small concern, such as  our child getting a bad grade, and project it out to believe he or she is going to flunk out of school and have no future. Exaggerating the facts and reality are sure to give you unnecessary worry and fear. Beware of when you are tempted to do this. Share your worry with a trusted friend and ask them to evaluate what is valid and what is exaggerated. Then come back into reality and put your concern into proper perspective. Beware of exaggerated thinking on this “Not Gonna Worry Wednesday”.
