Change Your "Got to" to "Get to"

Self talk can many times be the direct source of our worry and stress. It is hard to live in peace and freedom when we think and talk in a way that places requirements or demands on our daily living. For example, you might say, “I worry my faith is slipping so I’ve ‘got to’ read my Bible more.” Changing this to say, “I ‘get to’ read my Bible more” turns the thought or statement into an opportunity instead of an obligation. Changing that one vowel in the word, from “got” to “get” can be extremely powerful in defeating worry. Change your “got to” to “get to” on this “Not Gonna Worry” Wednesday.
