God is more interested in the development of your heart than in making your life easy. How often do we go to God asking Him to take away our worry by changing the circumstances we are worried about? There’s nothing wrong with this, but most often God is probably looking to take away our worry as we go through the struggle rather than escape from the struggle. It is through the difficulties that we see God can be relied upon, He is with us, and can provide peace no matter what we are going through. God is more interested in changing your worried heart into a peaceful trusting one than in changing your circumstances. Expect God to change your heart before anything else on this “Not Gonna Worry” Wednesday.
