Find Ways to Laugh

Laughter has a profound effect on the mind. It has been shown to release endorphins, the chemicals that give us a sense of well-being and help reduce pain and stress. Laughter is therefore excellent medicine for worry. 

Recognize when you start taking life too seriously. Then seek out environments where you can lighten up and laugh. Take time out of your day to watch a funny show on TV. Be around people with a good sense of humor, that are positive and uplifting. Learn also to laugh at yourself. 

Laughter is a gift from God, a fun way to express joy. Make room for more of it in your life. Find ways to laugh away your worry on this “Not Gonna Worry” Wednesday.
