Replace Expectations with Expectancy

Worry is often based on expectations we have pre-formulated around our circumstances. For example, we expect to have a comfortable easy life so when events don’t go this way we become miserable and disappointed. A better mindset would be one of expectancy. Instead of worrying about life’s trials, have expectancy of what God can do in and through them. Remind yourself of His character, promises, and goodness. Replace expectations with expectancy on this “Not Gonna Worry” Wednesday.
