Think Biblically Instead of Worldly

The world gives you all kinds of reasons to worry, whereas the bible does the opposite. God knows we have a natural bent to worry, so instructs us how to fight it off, and instead live in His supernatural peace.

The world leads us to believe worry and anxiety correlate with our outward circumstances. Paul tells us in Philippians 4:6,  “Do not be anxious about ANYTHING, but in EVERY situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving present your request to God.” The answer is to go to God in prayer, read His promises in scripture that speak to worry and enjoy His “peace that transcends all understanding” (Phil. 4:7a).

Think biblically instead of worldly and enjoy God’s peace on this “Not Gonna Worry” Wednesday.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  Philippians 4:6-7
