Believe in the Impossible

We give worry an opportunity to thrive when we get stuck in our problems, expecting no good to happen. So often we believe in the miracles of the Bible and even the miracles that happen to other people in today’s time, yet we don’t believe they can happen to us when we are caught up in our own despair. But the God of yesterday is the same God of today, and tomorrow and if He could do it then, He can do it now.

This doesn’t mean that you are not realistic in your thinking. God, however, can fix, heal or deliver in many ways; through medical doctors, a new job opportunity, or through a complete miraculous situation that no one can predict. This doesn’t mean He will do the impossible it just means He can. Changing your mindset to one of possibility takes the focus off of your problems and puts it on faith instead, and where there’s faith there can be no worry.

Believe in the impossible on this “Not Gonna Worry” Wednesday.

Yet he[Abraham] did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. Romans 4:20-21
