It may seem that it is our weakness that leads us to worry. For example, we may think we are inadequate in public speaking so we worry about embarrassment and possible failure. If we can see and react to our weakness in a different way, however, we can ward off our anxious mindset. God makes it clear that when we come to Him and admit we cannot get through trials in our own strength, He is always there to help us and bring us peace.(Philippians 4:6-7) There are many examples in the Bible of God using people through their weaknesses to fulfill His purposes and display His amazing glory. Moses felt he was not gifted in speech, yet God used him to lead the Israelites out of Egypt and free them from slavery. Turn to God in your weakness and tap into His strength on this “Not Gonna Worry” Wednesday.
