In times of crisis and uncertainty we tend to get consumed by fear which quickly produces anxiety and worry. To ward this off, we need to look for all the good that is happening around us. This is going to take extra effort but it will be well worth it.
Notice the people who are stepping up to the plate and doing good for others despite the hopeless or fearful situation. Let them inspire you. Maybe you can also go out of your way to encourage them. Exercise your trust and faith in God and praise Him for the good He is doing amid the chaos. Look for where God is already working and find a way to join in.
You might want to also journal or make a list of all the positive things that are happening around you. Look for the good on this “Not Gonna Worry” Wednesday.
Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits--
who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion,
who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
