Worrying is selfish. It is always about something we feel we need to get in order to be happy or content. By shifting our focus to giving instead of getting, worry can fade away.
What can you give to others? It can be encouraging words, time, money, acts of kindness, etc. Ask God to reveal to you the details of who, what, where and when. The Bible says we should not give out of obligation, or to look good but from our hearts. Be creative in finding ways to share what you have with others. You might be surprised at how good giving will make you feel.
Be a cheerful giver on this “Not Gonna Worry” Wednesday.
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7
